I'm a Technology Consultant and DevOps Engineer from Philadelphia with a passion for building solutions using cloud and modern infrastructure tools.
Expertise
I have experience working in a number of different areas and toolchains.
Platforms
I'm most experienced with Amazon Web Services, but also have built projects on Google Cloud and more recently Microsoft Azure. For container workloads, Kubernetes is my preferred orchestration tool of choice.
Automation
Tools from Hashicorp - particularly Terraform, have streamlined the way infrastructure is built and delivered. Ansible provides a lightweight automation tool that can be used to provision infrastructure, automate systems, or deploy and manage systems in a singular way. For everything else, I script using a combination of Python, Bash, or Powershell.
Delivery
Everything I build, I build as code, stored in Git source control, making it easy to track and version changes to tools and infrastructure. I'm most experienced using Jenkins as an automation and integration server. For building and developing applications and tools, Docker makes for a first-class experience from localhost to production.
